Building a Culture of Well-Being in Schools
Learning Through Games
In a large-scale study, across three countries (Bhutan, Mexico, and Peru) involving close to 800,000 students, shows that teaching well-being skills not only improves well-being outcomes but also improves academic performance (Adler et al., 2016).
We believe that everyone should learn how to protect their well-being from as young as possible. Hence, we designed a variety of game-based programmes specifically for schools.

Fostering a Culture of Well-Being
Fostering a Culture of Well-Being
For School Leadership Team
A culture of well-being in the workplace is important both for the staff’s well-being and the organization’s performance outcomes. A meta-analysis of 339 independent studies, capturing data from close to 2 million employees has showed that higher well-being is highly correlated with:
- Greater Job Satisfaction
- Higher productivity
- High customer loyalty
- Lower staff turnover (Krekel et al., 2019)
Leaders are the key to creating a culture of Well-Being in the workplace that increases work performance in an organization. An Authentic leadership style focused on relationships at work is a predictor of job satisfaction and organizational commitment (Laschinger & Fida, 2014).
Grawitch and colleagues (2006) proposed a model that looks at 5 areas that contribute to a workplace well-being culture, namely
- Work-Life Balance
- Employee Growth and Development
- Employee Involvement
- Recognition
- Health & Safely
These 5 areas are connected by constant communication.
For a culture of Well-Being to be established in a workplace, communication and leadership hold the key.
In the area of communication, participants will learn a model to facilitate communication for growth and development. In the area of leadership, participants will learn the Authentic Leadership style that can promote greater trust in management, empowerment, and work engagement (Laschinger & Fida, 2014).
